“Sherri Is an incredible poet.”

I've read [Wash My Soul] several times. Her poems speak from the heart, transforming the reader to a different place.

Enlightening reading.

Another book of poems [Wash My Soul] magnificently written by a talented poet that is rapidly becoming one of the finest writers of poems in the world. Sherri's deep insight into human nature and her own spiritual nature combined with a very beautiful fine tuned wisdom, make for a most enjoyable and enlightening reading experience. I highly recommend it. Five star. It's her second book of what surely is just the beginning of her work, for she has the ability to plumb the depths of divinely inspired creativity.

Not just a book of poetic thoughts, but one to allow into your soul.

Even though Sherri Lewis claims a confusion of words in her life, you would never suspect that from the pathos of these poetic lines that cut through all the pain and fears of an ordinary life. Yet, within these pages shines a personal faith that illuminates our world with a candle of hope. I think the words from one of Sherri's sums up my feelings the best: "Oddly, I can distinguish the curse from the blessing. When I become still and walk away from the madness." I believe we will hear Sherri Lewis's voice for many years to come.

Evocative and honest.

What struck me the most when reading Sherri's book is the breadth of experiences she conjures up with her writing. Even though I'm a man and grew up in a different local, and lived a completely different life than she did, she brings up thoughts and memories both challenging and comforting, some like mine and some new to me.

Because she calls upon so many times and places from whence to use her voice, her work is a look inside another person's life and thoughts that you don't usually get from most of what's available to read. Her writing is not pretentious, but honest, sometimes concrete and sometimes more illusory.

I am a fan of her's and her honest approach to using her voice.

Patriotism, pain and pleasure are the feelings this reader experienced reading Sherri's "Voice". Sherri paints images that are warm and friendly and at times challenging and bittersweet. A great gift for the reading people you love.
